Gadget for Kitchen Accessibility

Lately I have been posting a lot of great ideas that if implemented, require remodeling or building from scratch.  If you are in the situation where you are adapting your current environment to meet your needs, this may be a handy device to make managing your oven a bit easier.

The oven rack push/pull gives the user a longer reach into the oven to pull the rack out while keeping fingers and hands away from the hot surfaces.  The notches created on the gadget allow for both pulling the rack out and pushing it back in as well.  You can find this item for under $10 on many websites.  I have seen it made in different materials, but prefer the wood as metal may get hot and plastic may melt.  What do you think of this product?

Like the idea. Still doesn’t solve getting food from the oven to the counter. But it’s a “push” (instead of step) lol.. In the right direction. Ok bad wheelchair joke. But hey I tired.
